The Sheep and the Goats
The Idea
This is an initiative within Farm Fellowship to put into practise the words of Jesus as found in Matthew chapter 25, verses 34 to 40, with regards to feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, tending the sick, and visiting those in prison.
Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’
We believe it is vital as followers of Jesus to recognize and deliver the practical aspects of our faith, to reflect the love that Jesus showed to all of us, and which Jesus calls us to show as a reflection of that love.
It is acts that follow faith. We do not earn our salvation by helping – we help others to be like Jesus who first helped us. What could we offer to Jesus who has all the riches of the universe at his disposal?

I have recently started to attend the service at Tarleton on Sunday mornings. After only a few short and very enjoyable weeks I feel I may have found what I’ve been looking for all my life.
I would like to thank Ian and Christine for all their continued hard work, love and care they show to everyone who steps through their door. regardless of who they are. A beggar or thief would get a warm welcome here.
I look forward to this new chapter in my life with excitement.
I also thank all the people behind the scenes who make the farm fellowship possible. God bless you all.

I am not new to this spiritual room but I am new to the goodness and welcome shown to me as a newcomer to the Sunday morning meetings and lunch….
Ian and Christine are so so kind the goodness shines out of them and I feel priviledged to welcomed in this fellowship.
I am searching for spiritual growth and I am sure I am in the right place to start my journey, even though it is late in my life. However I do know God loves us all young and old.
May you all be blessed for making this fellowship such a wonderful good and honest place to be.
Needless to say my three visits so far are only the start of many more to come, God willing they continue to let me through the doors……..
God bless,
Harry x
